The world's finest cacao, direct from the grower.
Through our partners Lucoa. Cia. Ltda., member of Palmar Corporation, we offer top quality cacao beans. Lucoa was founded in 2013 with the purpose of advancing the cacao sector in el Oro province, Ecuador.
The company owns 200 ha of own UTZ-certified production and manages 300 growers who produce 180 tons of cacao per month in the low season (December-March), a number which triples during the harvest season to about 540 tons per month. Producers are offered transport services, digital weighing and fair payment.
Lucoa processes two varieties of cacao beans: Nacional Fino de Aroma and Cacao CCN-51. Product quality is of the highest order and corresponds to – and in some measures even surpasses – the national quality standards for cacao exports (INEN Norms). Measures can be adjusted to the needs of the buyer.
